this album by modest mouse has quietly been changing my life since i stole it from my sister at the start of summer.

i listened to it when i walked to work and when i walked back from work every day; i listen to it when i go to school now.

it's funny that i never lauded it. maybe not; i only just found out the album title by looking on wikipedia.

custom concern is my favourite song, i think. i listen to it a lot and it still hasn't started annoying me.

changing your favourite thing is hard, especially when it's been your favourite for as long as you can remember.
i was thinking of changing my favourite comic from incredible hulk to savage dragon, because i've been collecting the second volume, which is lacklustre, and reading current issues, which are still lacklustre. i haven't read the good hulk i remember from my childhood since i was a child.
and the savage dragon is good; but i shouldn't change, because i know that it's just idiots being idiots.

and then changing your favourite band from tool, worshipped and fawned over and listened to and examined and dissected for years and years. one of the first bands i ever heard; they got me into music.

but i like the unicorns more. i listen to them more.
