jupiter as a setting, is scary.

scary like the sea!

i wanted to set the first arc of my comic on jupiter because it's BIG. a recurrant memory from being a child is flipping through a book on planets, which i have always been interested in, and reading a fact:
63 planet earths can fit inside jupiter.

it's probably not true, but it's true enough.

it scared me. reading the first paragraph of the wikipedia article worries me like a picture of the ocean.
it wasn't fear that made me afraid!

i'm scared of the sea because it's deep and fathomless and dark and there's no hope of being found down there.

i wanted the first arc to have a theme of loneliness and jupiter seemed like the place;
but apparently its surface is (mostly gas and liquids).
